4x4 blazer drag link?

i was trying to get a drag link for my blazer today and they kept sending the wrong parts to the shop does anyone produce a original one piece drag link? or am i going to have to settle for the sleeved replacement , 3 pieces versus the one piece link that is on there . has anyone else run into this problem ???

Re: 4x4 blazer drag link?

I went out and looked at mine, I think it is a 3-piece, assuming we are
talking about the same part. (Connects steering arm to steering shaft)

well the one on my blazers , 71 and a 72 are original and was hoping to find a like part for the daily driver so i wouldnt have to mess with the steering , just bolt in and go. and luv2, yeah its the link that goes from pitman arm to steering arm

Re: 4x4 blazer drag link?

Every one I have ever seen is three piece and adjustable. Are you saying that you have a non-adjustable one?

Re: 4x4 blazer drag link?

I do believe they came from the factory as non-adjustable on all Blazers? Maybe just up to '71?

Then when the new trucks came out in '73 - the recommended replacement part was the three piece -

I imagine you are going to have a hard time finding one

Re: 4x4 blazer drag link?

I had/have a one piece draglink. Came off of my 72, its still pretty tight though, I replaced it with a 85 adjustable.
