What's it worth?

I had my Blazer listed on the Classifieds here for a few weeks. I even put it up on Ebay once. I just want to see if I'm in the right range for what to sell the beast at.

I'll post several pics in the next few posts.

Re: What's it worth?

Here's the details:

1972 K5 CST Blazer 4X4. Rebuilt 350 bored .30 over, Edelbrock carb and intake, rebuilt turbo 350 trans w/shift kit, re-sealed np-205 transfer case, rebuilt front and rear axles w/Eaton posi's, 4.88 gears, 38x15.5x15 tires (3 at 25%, one at 5-10%), soft top (black) in great condition, custom roll-cage. Carpet available (I didn't re-install carpet after the roll-cage was finished). Brand-new internally regulated alternator. Brand-new water pump and thermostat. U-joint on steering column rather than a rag connector. Bedlined inside of truck. K&N filter. Newer brakes, disc front, drum rear.

Runs great. Very strong. 4WD works flawlessly. Lights all work. Paint is in good condition, it does have some scratches and chips. I have the can of paint used to paint the truck that could be used for touch-ups, as there is no clear-coat. Actual mileage unknown.

97% Rust free: there are a few bubbles under the paint at the bottom of each door. Each rocker box has a small section of rust on one end, but are still very solid. Windshield (weld patched pictures included), firewall, floor, and rocker panels are rust free . All sheetmetal has been replaced on this truck. The undercarriage of the truck has been recently painted.

Minor issues: Slow electric drain when sitting. Steering gear box has a slow fluid leak. Hard top (white) - hatch needs fiberglass work and glass.

I am the 3rd owner of the truck. Clean title.

Re: What's it worth?

Looks like a nice K5 and good description and photographs. I don't know what you were/are asking but seems like it is a K5 that people should be interested in.

Re: What's it worth?

$7000 I would guess. All depends on what you are looking for and how long you want to list it.

Re: What's it worth?

$5000-$7500 in the current market, the "RIGHT" person may pay more,
it has + features and - features, the value is hard for me to nail down.
