Spindle Question

I put 2 1/2" drop spindles on and without any weight except for the frame the camber seems off. Is this normal? I don't remember which is negative or which s positive camber but the tops of the tires are leaning in.

Mine ended up being slightly off the other direction - too much tilting out. My caster was pretty far off too, apparently, according to the printout I got from the alignment shop...

I wouldn't worry about it, just put plenty of new or good old parts on the front end, get it all together, and take it to an alignment shop. For $50, it's worth letting them do all the work and getting it really accurate.

Do you have the big block in it yet or just a bare frame? The combination of springs and spindles you have will not settle down until you get some weight in it.

I just replaced all the components on my front end and have four shims (thick ones) on each side. The left side camber looks pretty good with the shims, but the right side still has a lot of negative camber. I will wait until the motor and cab are back on before I do any more adjustments.
