Cool Bucket seats

Will factory buckets seats and mounts from a 1972 pickup fit where a factory bench seat was along with a factory console for same year. Is it much trouble to do the conversion.

The buckets will go into the truck, but there is work to do. The floors were not setup for the inner brackets and depending on your seat brackets, you may have to relocate the outer set of holes. You will want to reinforce the mounting locations for the brackets, (we made up small formed channels with the nuts welded to them and welded the assemblies to the floor from underneath as the factory did). Hole layout is tricky, but I was able to get the locations from a junk truck floor that was drilled from the factory. The console mounting holes should have existing dimples in the middle of the floor properly located.

An assembly manual is helpful if you have one as it shows locations and measurements.

Welcome to the board from Michigan!

Good luck!

Jim
