I saw an outstanding frame off rodstoration 1967 swb fleetside that was running 11 seconds on nitros. It had race buckets and many nice features, beautiful body...trailer queen. It had been independently appraised and insured for $25,000 USD. It has been for sale for over 1.5 yrs now and the current asking price is $15,000 USD or best offer. This is only one data point but I have seen one other outstanding '67-'72 rodstoration that went for about $7500. It was a show quality truck and the guy had to get rid of it to buy a house. The trucks that I have seen that bring $20,000+ are pure stock, fully optioned, high quality restorations, that are completely stock but may be lowered a bit.

My point is...if you are doing this to resell your project you had better go almost completely stock if you hope to get the highest value. You might discuss this with BIG ORANGE who sold his suburban but I believe he achieved a very high value due to the quality and all the awards he has won, including a magazine feature.

Just my 0.02, and I am sure others have some very valuable input as well.
