Re: 20 inch tires for my 79

i dont really like those rims personally... and big rims are kind of a long shot as far as good/bad... i even think my rims are too tall but cant afford a new set of smoothies. but hey, stock height on 20's? i think it can be done if done right. not with big baller rims like those though

Re: 20 inch tires for my 79

why thank you. i think they're nice cause they're classier than all these big ass baller rims. i think if you pick a good, simple, clean looking wheel and choose the right rubber, you can do it at stock height, but stepsides are a little different for sure

Re: 20 inch tires for my 79

Here's a couple of quick chops for you. The first one is your original. The second one is stock height with 275/45s on 20s. And, the third one is with a 'mild' drop.

That's what I call some artwork. Looks good with the mild drop.

Re: 20 inch tires for my 79

Thats better without the bed rails and mirrors. But can you lose the chrome fender trim too! I think that has to go as well.
You guys really know how to spend my $$$.
Thanks for the input. I am really enjoying this transformation.
