Wheel offset

I want to mount my '57 Burb on a '00 GMC stepside chassis and running gear. The outside wheels dimensions are 6" wider than the body of the burb. Can I get wheels that are 3" offset so that they'll fit inside the body?

Most wheel companies will have several back spacing choices for each size of wheel. A lot of them will make the wheel to your offset specification although they're non returnable. The price varies greatly by the wheel manufacturer to do this. Some don't even charge to do this.
