Re: Air Cleaners?

Totally depends on what look you want.

I am thinking of looking for something different myself.

Summit Racing actually has quite a few you can sort through.

Re: Air Cleaners?

I got this thing on my 1407 but I heard it is a real fire hazard and that is why I am looking for something different.

I like this one, cause it matches the valve covers.

Re: Air Cleaners?

Here are a couple of ideas.. Forgive the Bel Air, I am in desperate need of time to detail the engine compartment again. It is a cal custom type air cleaner and valve covers. The truck has a scoop that I think will look cool when the hood gets opened. It came flat black already, I painted the other stuff to match. That engine will be going in my '68 shop truck... Flat black with red steelies and wide whitewalls with spider caps.

Thanks!
I have been contemplating that very thing, but I was afraid it migt be too much black then. Maybe I will paint it red to match the dash.
