Crossover steering?

what exactly is crossover steering? what are its advantages/disadvantages? anybody have any pics?

thanks guysreally helps me out, i'm slowly but surely getting the bug worse and worse. how hard would it be to do this to my Dana44?

If your Dana 44 has a flat mounting pad on the passenger knuckle, this will be easy to do. If not (I think some of the newer D44's did not have a pad on the passenger knuckle but I'm not sure) then you might have to find a knuckle with this pad and swap it or find some other creative way to install, mount or weld the required part to your RH knuckle.

Are you sure your front axle is a Dana44? My '78 has the GM 10 bolt up front.
