Domelight????s

I feel like a real bonehead asking this, but how in the *^&%@@# do you get the dome light bezal out of a truck, my donor 69 has a pretty chrome one and I'm not smart enough to remove it, Also, I have lost ground to the dome in my 72, the only way it will work is if I ground the driver side terminal. Where is the common grd for all the switches. Thanks

The bezal is held in by a pop in plastic tabs on each side. ( a bear to remove without braking the tabs if they are aged.) Try putting pressue on the upper side and tilt out. The main ground for the light is on the headlight switch. See if the light switch has lost it's ground.
