Re: What did you get done? 05/25 Memorial weekend edition

Arrived at Indy camp lot about 1:30 Sat. Hung out there, drank beer, and grilled some food. Sunday, went to the race, sat in between turns 3 and 4, drank more beer. Monday, refinished a dresser, installed a new door on the house, drank more beer (still have a case and a half from race weekend leftover).

Not much here. We had a F1 tornado rumble thru our neighborhood Sunday...caused LOTS of damage in general, but somehow, we made it out without a scratch. We live in a 50+ year old neighborhood with lots of trees, so it was real sad to see all these big, tall, green giants knocked down and on top of houses. Other than that, spent time with the family, did some shopping, and replaced a toilet because clumsy me broke the tank lid on the existing one while making a repair.

Jeff, glad you and your fam are OK. I know what you mean about the trees, we had a devastating Ice Storm here in Jan 2004 that damaged 99 percent of the trees in ours and the surrounding counties. The fun part was not having power for over a week! It's amazing the things we take for granted sometimes....
