Underbed tank question

I found a new LMC underbed gas tank conversion kit for cheap, but it is for a 60-66 anyone know what the difference is between this kit and the 67-72 is and if this would fit with little or no modification?

Re: Underbed tank question

I don't know for sure, but looking at both LMC catalogs, the 60-66 has a Part # of 32-5924, and the 67-72 has a part # of 32-5925. Both tanks show to have the same dimentions 13"H x 19"W x 30"L. According to the dimention I would think it would fit under a 67 - 72, however being that the Part #'s are different the mounting could be different and might require fabrication to work. Hope this helps

Re: Underbed tank question

The sending unit on the old tanks is a 30 ohm. You need A 90 ohm sending unit for your application. Physical shape is the same.

Re: Underbed tank question

So the tank will fit exactly the same and just need a sending unit?
Thanks for the help!

Re: Underbed tank question

I got the tank for $45 shipped to my door!
its a brand new LMC just there were 2 small dents in the top, and the float was missing from the sending unit (which i need to get a new sending unit anyways since its for a 60-66) but still an amazing price!
ill have to get some pictures when it comes, and probably start a build thread once i get a bit farther in the project.
