Post Repoduction 1979 Grille Moldings SUCK!!

Ordered a set of upper and lower grille moldings and a grille for 79 Chev.the grille is ok.but the upper and lower moldings suck!!!they are too short and have a big gap beetween the headlamp bezels(which are NOS GM units)i even tried my old ones, the moldings still dont fit good, the lower molding is even stamped a little crooked.the upper comes with the trim clips but in plastic. The lower trim clips are junk everyone of them spun so you couldnt tighten the pal nut down-so i had to use the original clips.I recommend spending the extra money and go to the dealer.Thats what i ended up doing.Anyone want some repo moldings? They are SHINY!!!would be ok for a daily beater.
