YIKES, don't you think it might be just a little too far gone to fix up?

i might be dumb, but what i would do with something like that is some fab work or something, i mean not try to restore it to origina, i would cut teh fenders out until your to clean metal and then make somekinda flat fenders for the front, kinda like a jeep, or hummvee, id put those cheap fender flares on it that just clip on, it would be more of a Beast! just daydreanming

And my dad called me crazy when i took on fixing up the 77 silverado. Good luck cuz you are gonna need it. Its better than seeing under the crusher though its sad to see when that happens

Might try to find a donor body for that frame, it'd probably make that project alot easier and less $$$ - but if you've got the guts and the knowhow go for it!

Well, thank y'all for the enthusiasum,(lol)
just so happens the donor truck , with the good bed sides came in today, and fenders, and hood, and oh heck the whole dang thang just about.I'm going to try this and see what i can do.I don't have alot of metal fab experince under my belt, but wha tthe hey,you got to learn sometime. And yes it's better than it going to the crusher too
Thought about the 40 inch swamppers i got to , just cut out a little more and the'd almost fit (lol)oh well I asked for a "project blazer" and I got one

dude your truck is a good trail rig realy i had a 74 blazer i took off the blazer body and put a 68 c 10 cab on it and well i wish i would have left the rusted out blazer body just cut the hell out of the fenders and put on a 6 inch lift with some 35s biuld up a 350 or a 400 sb and go to the trail mud the hell out of it if it gets a dent who cares that why i would leave it the way it is
