I put blazer buckets in today, with a couple of pics - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Here is for all the guys that are curious of this swap. First i took out the bench seat by removing the 4-15mm nuts. and removed the bench. I then vacuumed the heck out of the carpet, got some lunch out there also, some left over petrified Mickey Ds french fries.EWW! On with the buckets. I put outside tracks fit perfectly over the existing studs from the bench. I marked the the inside track holes and removed the bucket so I could take a 3/8" drill bit and drill the 2 needed holes for the inside track. You'll need to do this on both sides obviously. Go get 4 3/8" 2-2 1/2" long bolts, nuts and washers. For the bottom/underneath get the biggest fender washer you can get. This helps from the bolt pulling threw the floor in case you are ever in an accident.

Put the seats back in and tighten everything down and away you go. I really like them in my truck. The set a bit higher and alot more comfortable, and it looks so much better.
All time involved, was roughly a hour.

Man, I figured I would have had a couple comments by now.

oh well. J/K I've been driving it now for about a week with the buckets. I keep telling myself why did I wait so long to do that. much better.

I did the same thing with my truck. Did you have to make brackets or did you just drill new holes? I'm going to make some brackets for mine this Spring.

I didn't need to make any brackets. Just had to drill the floor and bolt them down.
I like that console,Looks good in there. Thats out of a Monte carlo correct? I had one a while back but sold it on ebay.

It looks like a Blazer or Envoy console to me.

You know now that I look at it again, your probably right. The monte Carlo is Very similar but it has a bigger panel in between the shifter and storage compartment.
