Good idea.

It fits in really well for me cause all the cordless tools I have for my business are Milwaukee. < correct spelling btw.

Meaning lots of batteries around.

One other note though is that the case it comes with is designed to carry three batteries inside it, I've never gone through em all in a weekend yet.

This pales in comparison to you guys, but this is it for me. Just started up slickrock in Tellico, on or two tries and it sounded like the clutch was coming apart. Fortunately, the sheetmetal dust shield somehow became pinched and bound up into the flywheel. I am guessing that the two tq mount bolts stripped out about the same time, because they were missing the next morning.

I've been busy lately so I didn't get these up as soon as I would have liked:

This is my 12 bolt cover that got peeled back on a rock on our last trail ride. Just took a little blacksmithing with my BFH and a block of wood to flatten out. The Blue RTV really saved my bacon as the bottom of the cover was peeled out a good 3/4" from the housing. The RTV held the fluid in for the most part, just a minor drip every now and then.

Now I look at it in the driveway and it's leaking again! I either didn't get the bolts tight or the cover isnt as flat as I thought it was.

Chances are the cover is ok, but if there was any oil residue left on, it's just seeping through a bit.

Yep, pretty much just scattered it. Everything else in the truck is upgraded except for this item. Has 1 ton chevy running gear, 350 with a TH350, and an NP208. He heard it starting to break, but just went ahead and ran it till he had nothing which lead to this situation he has now. He has a TH400 with an NP205 ready to go in it as soon as he finds the time to do it.

I broke a lug off in Pismo the other day. Doesn't sound to bad but I noticed it on the highway. That one broke cuz it was the only one still tight. The rim was hammering back and forth on the other 5. Now the lug holes are a little dished. Needs two washers to hold it tight. Not sure if I can weld it up and remachine it. Anyone have some 6 lug Kelsey hayes/turbo style mag wheels in 15x10?

No pics, but about 20 years ago I was running about 60 down a two lane road when the front end started shakin like mad. I pulled over to the side of the road, on a bad slope. I looked at the right front tire and all the stud bolts had broken off. The 40" tire some how stayed on the hub, just wobbled around but never slipped off the 6"s or so of the hub. I selpt in the truck and the next morning I stuffed logs under the front end (no Jack) and dug out the dirt under the tires. All I had was a lug wrench and a fencing tool. Took 3 studs and lugs from the left side and put them in the right. Dug out the log and eased 40 miles to home.
Another time I was working on the steering wheel and decided I need a part from the parts store so I stuck the wheel back on the spline (no nut) and headed to town. Well the shaft slid down a bit while I was on the interstate and came out of the steering wheel. OOPS!! Sooo... I eased on the brakes and luckely it went off to the right, away from traffic, into a shallow ditch.
Talk about the "nut behind the wheel" being the problem. Some how I'v managed to survive almost 50 years, couse there are a whole lot more stories like these.

OKOK... I can match your broken knuckle, and Seeing as it's only a D44, I'll also throw in a broken pair of U-bolts, and a dented cab.

Coming down a steep grade going a wee tad too fast... Ground was a bit of mush from some really recent rain, but that just makes everything more fun in my book. So, I was practically taking a right turn going down hill, and the right shoulder gave, and sent me spilling down the embankment. The only thing to stop my descent was a giant ROCK which my right front wheel hit directly. Bonk. Head off the cab, kinda BONK. Broken in the woods with my axle pushed back about 10" and a 35" flat

As for the best carnage... I have to say that it's an accumulated 7 junkyard mirrors ripped off the sides of my old '91 XJ. A cute little water crossing, then zig-zag up a near verticle hill in between trees (the trees always took a mirror or two)... It was all to get to this field which was practically made for BAJA style racing around the edge. Ahh those were the days...
I ought to get around to the starter and the PS pump on that old XJ...

My 1/2" drive sockets were barricaded on the barn, so I figured my weight on my 3/8" socket wrench would be tight enough for the lug nuts...wrong. I was doing 80 and the front left wheel felt wobbly, so I turned onto my exit and all of a sudden had to pull over quickly. I got out, THANK GOD for the hub length! It kept my wheel on, all my lug nuts fell off of that wheel. Needless to say, my truck has been on stands for 4 weeks because we cant get one simple ring out of the hub to be able to replace the stripped studs!

I dont have any pics at the moment, but on the K20s first trip out, i had a screw come loose out of the throttle body and go on top of the #6 piston. it managed to ruin the piston, and beat a hole in the head
