'87 350 w/700R4 and other items

OK, time to clean out the garage.

Here's what I've got to get rid of;

Item #1. Original 350 and 700R4 out of my '87 SWB which I replaced with a 454 earlier this year. Motor and trans were in good running condition when I removed them.

BEFORE

I had planned on putting it into my '78 Camaro, so I bought a new Edelbrock Performer intake for it along with a New Edelbrock 1406 Carb w/elec choke, fuel pump and HEI distributor. But, I'm scratching the project and moving on to my '57 Chevy stepper rebuild.

AFTER

As you can see, the conversion is already done but if you want to convert it back to TBI, I'll include the original distributor, intake and throttle body, original bracketry and accessories. I've got a pretty good idea what the set is worth so make me an offer if you're interested and we'll go from there. Option 1: (Engine / Trans) $750 Option 2 (with Edelbrock parts) $1,050

Item #2: In the above picture, you'll notice a transmission on the floor. It's a brand new TH350 I picked up at Autozone for the motor instead of the 700R4. $275

Item #3: A set of 18" Eagle Wheels with BFG GForce Rubber which were on the Lowrider until recently when I replaced them with 20s. Below, they are on the truck still. $650

Edit: Helps to put pricing in. Thanks Ken. Above prices do not include shipping. Thanks for looking.

I was rushed last night when I posted this initially so I neglected to put the prices on. I have added them above. I split the induction parts from the original engine to make it easier for anyone who wants to keep the TBI on it. Prices are above.

Re: '87 350 w/700R4 and other items

Not sure,

When I bought the truck last year, I decided that it needed a big block to complete the look that the previous owner was attempting.

The SBC ran very well with the TBI on it. I pulled the valve covers and the tops of the heads were free of buildup. Just the normal discoloration of hot oil, but no sludge which leads me to think it hadn't been long.

I ran into the builder of it one day at the parts store after I had installed the 454 in it. He came out to look at it. The first thing he said was "Where's the 350, you didn't get rid of it did you".

Maybe I shuda called him before I posted it here...

Did the builder ever buy it? I need to know so I can see if I should start saving up for it.

Haven't been able to get on the chat room or MSN to get ahold of you, my computer is messed up.

Okay, I'll start saving! I'll do my best to get as much as I can by May or so, whenever it is your coming my way. I'm trying to figure out some way to get into the chat, but it's near impossible on the new OS I'm using.

The Tbi was a gimme if you bought the motor, I was including it at no charge.

Are you interested in just the TBI or just the short block?

Re: '87 350 w/700R4 and other items

If I end up being able to buy the motor I'll sell you the TBI. That is if Low doesn't sell it. I'll just use the money I get from it to recoup some of the cost for the motor as that's a lot of saving. Or maybe you could sell it and cut a little off the price for the motor, tranny, and new parts? Just some ideas.

Rick,

Dang, you got a lot of vehicles! - lol

Here's some shots that may help.

Tires are BFG GEForce T/A KOWS, 235/50ZR18 up front and 245/55ZR18 out back.

Fronts have less than 200 miles on them and rears look just as good.

Here's an old pic from last year before I bought the 20's.

Wheels need a good polishing! Otherwise are in great shape.

Edit: I'm just south of Evansville Indiana bout 7 miles.

Kenny

Both are brand new.

Intake is for the '87 350 so the center 4 bolt holes are setup for the '87 heads. It's a Edelbrock Performer Intake. $125

Carb is also brand new. It's a Edelbrock 1406 with elec choke. $200

yes, but you'd have to bore out the center 4 hole because on the 87 and up the bolts go straight down into the head instead of at an angle.
