New Wheels on the 67!

Well guys, got some new wheels on the 67 yesterday! Check em' out and let me know what you think, they're 15 x 8's. The rear is dropped 4" and the front will be getting dropped 3" as soon as I can get a trailer to pull my truck with.

Thanks bigblazerboy for getting the image code.

Re: New Wheels on the 67!

They look good! My buddy has a set on his '66, and they are a classic wheel.

What other plans do you have?

Thanks guys!

As for other plans, I'm trying to get my truck into town to have the front end rebuilt. After that it'll probably get spray canned to have one solid color, then the body work begins. The suspension will be completely done after the front end rebuild. At the beginning of April I'm dropping the new engine in, pulling this one out, and building a performance based 250. There's a lot in store about to happen, I need to update my build thread.

Looks good man. Glad to hear you're going with a performance built 250, there are far too few inlines running around.

Re: New Wheels on the 67!

There was a 250 build up in PV4 magazine years ago. I saved the magazine cause I had a 67 short step 4x4 at the time. The truck was sold but I still have the magazine...somewhere. The tech is old now, but the build was fairly simple, a cam, split headers, 4bbl intake, some headwork and a recurved HEI.
The improvements were well worth it. Nowadays I would build one with a 4.3 throttle body with 5.0 liter injectors or maybe 5.7 liter injectors. An FI early six would be cool!
