Post Spindle info needed!

Working on a 81 scottsdale,1/2t,350/350.Is the spindles the same whether you have 1in or 11/2 thick rotors.What's different,rotor,spindle & caliper??Can 1in be converted to 11/2 just by changing these componets?Thanks for any info,Mike

calipers wont bolt onto spindle is the problerm i found out on an 80 with larger rotors. normal caliper wouldnt fit on spindle
