Wtb 2 barrel carb linkages for choke

I have a 2 jet rochester carb and its been rebuilt. But the choke rods or linkages are all bent up and aren't working very well. Every now and then I have to pop the hood and push the choke linkage to engage it. I know that this isnt stock for our trucks but maybe someone has some old 2bbls laying around that they won't mind stripping the rods for me.
the number on my carb is 7040136 then it has (163 0-D1 )or DI under that #

Thanks. Chuck

I have a complete carb off a later model engine with EGR,it's yours if you want to pay shipping.I also have a drivers side inner fender. Its rust free, but somebody cut a small square notch out of it with a torch. Doesn't affect function in any way and you can't see it when installed. You can have it too for shipping if you want it.There is a chance I might be traveling to Louisville ,KY in a couple weeks, thats probably only a couple hour drive from you, might could meet up someplace

If the carb is similar to mine linkage wise I'll take it. the inner fender too. Can you give me a shipping quote to 37043?

It's quite a bit different than yours, but you can have the whole intake if you want it. If you want just the carb, probably somewhere between 10-15 dollars. I'll have to find a box that the inner fender will fit in to get a quote on that,I'm sure they will charge "oversize" shipping on it

Re: Wtb 2 barrel carb linkages for choke

Chuck,I'm embarrassed to say how much both Fedex and UPS qouted me for shipping the inner fender, because of the size of the box. The girl at UPS did say, though, if I take it out of the box and just wrap it with bubble wrap and shrink wrap stuff she thinks I could get it down to about $49,but then there would be an $8 handling fee for being unboxed. You want I should bring it with me and meet up someplace when I come through?

Chuck, if it would help, 69Lemans could leave the parts with me when he comes through Knoxville.

Re: Wtb 2 barrel carb linkages for choke

Chuck,is there anything else you need I might have while I'm coming that way? Woody,I'll be leaving here Saturday the 27th ,probably around 8'ish in the morning. Best I remember it's about 4 hours or so to Knoxville. Let me know how to find you ,and any tips or suggestions you might have on how to avoid road construction traffic/delays around Knox. would be appreciated
