newb from ca.

hey what's up guys i just picked a 65 c-10 long bed i thought i would do an intro. it's got power steering and brakes 283 powerglide. i was wondering if i can buy dash paint in a rattle can form? if so who sells it. I don't have much in the way of plans for it as I already have a full project. it's a 51 plymouth chopped four inches. and a ton of other things done to it. i also owned another c-10 about a decade ago that was pretty crazy.it's the last pic.

cool trucks! i'm curious about the paint as well, because it looks like someone rattled the inside of my '66 I just picked up...however, i think it's a bit darker than it should be

Re: newb from ca.

i saved mine from a rat rod life. it has spider webs painted on the door panels. and iron crosses all over i already have most of it off now. i just want a nice traditional styled truck to cruise.

Re: newb from ca.

Welcome to the board from the Hoosier state......................................... Licaroc13, The Interior of the 66 years trucks were painted a different color than the previous years. It was sort of a medium green color. When I had my burb painted, my paint guy also painted the inside the fawn color. He took the glovebox door and they matched the color perfectly.

Thats a nice score Glendale, it sits really nice and looks killer as is. You get the black plates with it? If so that a cool little bonus...

FYI:
The stock '66 interior was two-tone. The regular light "fawn" color was used on the steering columnn, steering wheel, headliner, doors and kickpanels but a darker shade of that color was used on the dash to cut down on replective glare to the windshield.

i'm gonna bring the truck. i thought about towing the car with the truck but the truck has no reciever and i don't have the cash to go and get one at this time. i thought it would look cool though.

my trailer is white also. p.s. yes the truck has black and gold plates.

p.s.s. i'm thinking about doing the dash, roof from the rain geutter up, and the sides inside the stainless in this candy gold what do you guys think?
