New Product Idea / Question.

I have been researching crossover steering the last few days and came up with an idea. Feel free to let me know if it seems rediculous. Since the steering box has to be changed out to a 2wd unit because of the pitman arm orientation, wouldn't it be easier if someone designed a pitman arm that would work for the 4wd box but was clocked 90 degrees to the 2wd box position? It seems it would be a cheaper and less time consuming fix than swapping steering boxes and you would retain the strength of the keyed shaft. Just an idea.

One word "liability"
The pitman arm is one part I wouldn't want to be on the hook for.

All the major lift companies already sell drop pitman arms. They already have the liability, this would just be a redesigned item that mounts to the 4wd box with the rest shaped like the arms used with the 2wd boxes.
