1971 C10 Tubular Control Arms Questions, Anyone?

I have a 71 C10, around 6 inches of drop in the front and 5 1/2 in the back. It has 15x8 Rally's in the front and 15x10 in the back.

Here is the issue... I put some 2 1/2 inch drop spindles in the front (to get it to the roughly 6 inches) and I am now having a very bad clearance issue between the inside of the front wheels and the lower control arms (factory stamped style) when steering.

Has anyone out there run into this same issue? And if so, has anyone attempted to install tubular control arms in the front and successfully fixed the clearance issue? Just wanted to get an input before spending the pretty penny.

Thanks.

I am sure someone will chime in, but I know that you can grind the lip of the lower control arm and you will have enough clearance.

I actually already did that. But shortly after bottomed the arms out on the street in a huge dip. They are tweaked beyond repair, so looking for a good alternative with more overall clearance both to the street and during steering. Thanks for the input.
