My 70 camaro.....

The 1st picture is of my "Actual" 70 Camaro (taked in 1998).
The 2nd picture is of a Model I had a guy do (First Strike Customs) in 1999.
I love 2nd generation Camaros, and I like the Group Van Halen too, so I asked him to incorporate BOTH into a 70 Camaro for me. He did an excellent job!!!

On a somewhat related note, I have a 72 GMC Shortbed Fleetside.
Does anyone know if they make a Model of this, that I can have for shows ect?

It can be a Matchbox or plastic Model or Die Cast Metal.
Not that paticular.

THANKS!

Re: My 70 camaro.....

I know there is a 1/25 scale resin model avalable. I will have to look up the box to see where I bought at when I get home this weekend. There are also diecast in 1/25 scale also. You can find them at swap meets for under $20.

Re: My 70 camaro.....

You might check with some model builder sites.I'm pretty sure the GMC parts are available but in resin. Most resin parts are small production runs by independent modelers who do it on the side. You might have to wait to get one until they run that particular part if they don't hve one in stock.Usually the resin stuff requires you to have a "donor" kit that is a mass produced plastic(styrene) kit for the frame, cab and other parts.Resin may cost twice as much for just the conversion stuff than the donor kit.

If I'm not mistaken, it looks like they give you the option,
of a "Stepside or Fleetside"?

Re: My 70 camaro.....

The model kit only came out in long bed fleet sides, long bed step sides, and short bed step sides. But there is a resin conversion for almost every combo you could want for these trucks on ebay and on here if you look.
