How should I repaint my truck? your opinion

Hay everyone this is my 79'silverado and I cant figer out how I should repaint her. The top picture is the original groovy 70's paint and even though it kinda old and out dated it kinda seems to fit it.
The bottom would be an updated 2006 corvette electron blue if you have ever seen the dark blue it kinda gets liter in the sun on the edges, while the center color would be a corvette Indy silver I think it would be a nice updated color.
So if I could get some feed back on what everyone thinks that would be cool thanks everyone.

That original color would look good without the graphics. Or if you like two-tone, that color with white in the center and maybe a white cab top would look good.

I would just paint the mid section with the graphics white and call it good.

Re: How should I repaint my truck? your opinion

Seems like those paint schemes are in style, go out of style (and look ridiculous), and then become nostalgic.

I like the 70's paint scheme. DO IT, DO IT!!!! lol

Re: How should I repaint my truck? your opinion

mine is blue & gray as well , but the blue is a stock shade . Personally the vivid blue is a bit much for these trucks. Like the original better .

good luck

Re: How should I repaint my truck? your opinion

It really depends on how quickly you want your truck to be dated. If you go with any current fad for a paint job it will be out of date in a few years. On the other hand a stock "appearing" paint scheme doesn't go out of style.

Keep the factory two tone and it will look good for years to come.
