My dad's 46 knucklehead

Here's a trike we built a few years back family project, uncle and dad mostly... I ride it most of the time now because I have a bad leg left over from a accident a few years back.

just a crappy old '03 883XL that had been turned into a "phatster" then abused...but with only 4K miles. I painted the wheels like the Iron. Here's a pic the day I got it:

Wow, mind if I PM you with some q's on what exactly you did and how you did it? I want that look but don't want to pay to start with a nightster/iron.

absolutely no problem, pm away. and you can see some details through the blog link in my sig. I did this pretty cheap by bartering on Craigslist, using Ebay and the local Independent (cheap for harley stuff anyways).
