My right hand drive C20

Hello all, here is my C20 custom camper that I picked up recently. I don't really know much about these trucks but I am very keen to learn!

Currently it has the original 350 with a mild cam, Holly manifold, 750vac/sec carby, headers, T400 box with a shiftkit and B&M shifter through a dayna diff. With disks brakes at the front.

First on the agenda is some new wheels I'm thinking something along the lines of these in 20"

and this crate motor
http://www.proformanceunlimited.com/...0_economy.html
(383 stroker with 450hp)

I'm not too happy with the braking performance at the moment so I want to give it a full bleed with some good pads and possibly some bigger disks at the front.

I have 8 studs/lugs on my rims is this factory? Is it possible to change this to 5? as the rim choices for 8 lug wheels seem to be pretty non existant or am I looking in the wrong place?

Also I have been told my truck is a 68 but have also been told it could be a 69, any ideas?

Sweet truck. Not a 68. Same colors as my 68. Very nice find. Like the right hand drive.

Re: My right hand drive C20

It is a 69. Wrong hood, fenders, and grill for a 68. Any idea who converted it to right hand drive? The 8 lugs are standard for C-20 and C-30. They can be converted. If you are changing the front discs then swap to a 5 lug with that conversion on the front. The rear could be swapped with a C-10 rear axle from a 71-72 truck. Or change out to a newer one with rear discs and just change the axle mount pads. Several companies sell them.

Thanks for that. I'm not sure who did the conversion but it was a while ago as the previous owner was not even sure when it was imported into Australia.

Would these look stupid in 20"? As I can get them to suit the 8 lugs.
