Check out companies like Vintage Air - they have lots of cool AC units that work without the monster black plastic box hanging off of the firewall!

Hot Rod Air and Vintage Air are two companies that offer A/C and Heat systems that still allow for a smooooth firewall. The entire unit is placed under the dash, so there is no need for that big ol' ugly heater box out there on the firewall. Don't worry, I could never live without AC either ....

I'm in the process of installing a Gen II Compac unit by Vintage Air. Just the 2 A/C hoses and 2 heat hoses with go thru the firewall.

Hey XXL, I love the I-6, how do you like it? I was thinking on putting one in my 67. I know a buddy who has some Offy stuff for them. Not sure if he will part with it though.

Here is my firewall. I have a Old Air airconditioning kit. I smoothed most of the other holes in the firewall.

My 250/1bbl is definitely no hotrod. On the highway it helps if I can get behind a semi so I can do some drafting

isn't that the flux compasitor that has to reach so many gigowatts to engage?

Oh, and I like the duct tape shave....how many layers does it take to get a good smooth finish? LOL

You missed the spray foam in the blower motor hole . This cab looks like an ant farm with all the rust holes in it. A $3 can of spray foam and 10' of duct tape has made it drivable for 2 MA winters now. 'Defrost' is handled by my arm and an old beach towel. I sure hope my other cab gets finished soon

Well, I've been contemplating following your lead on the uber-shaved cowl. However, MA says this...

That petty law might keep him from getting a license plate for his truck...or worse if found and they wanted to be jerks the truck could be impounded.
