Hey guys I am getting ready to sand down and paint my firewall. The only things is I dont like all the Air conditioning components on the firewall.

I was thinking about just going with out ac but it gets hot here in Texas.

Is there a kit to relocate all that stuff and still retain my factory interior? I've seen the kits for the 67-72s model chevys but not the 73-87s. Can anyone help me out?

The Vintage Air kit mounts everything up under the dash, and the system was designed to work with R134. They are a Texas company, FWIW...

i tired asking about this not to long ago i want the clearance for my wheels.. from what i understand if you already have a A/C truck you can get away with just the evaporator kit for the truck. no one could confirm this for me tho but i guess a call to vintage air could..

I believe that is correct. If you already have AC then you can get all you need from Vintage Air for around $400-$500 I believe.

Talk to rddiaz on the board. He is running big wheels and bags, and has modified to stock a/c box to work.
