Need rear bumper brackets 73-?

I've currently got a chrome cowboy bumper on my 74 & I'm going to swap it out w/a stock smooth bumper but before I can install it I need the inner & outer brackets. Anyone have some they can part with?

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Well my 67/8 has 2-inner & 2-outer rear bumper brackets & when I went through a catalog it listed 2ea side as well. Since I don't have the bumpers yet I'm not 100% positive.

it might vary with bumper type, with my step (not step side) bumper there are just 2 thick brackets that extend the frame so the bumper can bolt to it.

Yep, that's pretty much what's under mine as well. They are 1/4" strap w/tabs for the bumper so I'm guessing they won't work w/an original style bumper.

there are 4 brackets if you're going with the stock rear chrome bumper. i see them once in a while at our local yards but never pull them, they want too much for them.

good luck finding them complete. there are also two seperate splash shields that go on the top for appearance. the Balzer has two that are the sameI believe the outers, and 2 are different. the splash shield is totally different. if you Email me at home I can look up the part numbers for you. I told the guy that i sold the last complete set to that he was getting a deal! (Tom) . the brackets alone are over $50 Ea . at LMC. DAVE

Man, I am going back to the JY and getting a bunch...there were at least 15 trucks with both front and rear bumpers!

I plan on going next month (it is 1.5 hrs away), if you still need them then i will pick some up.

Dohhhhh!!!!!!!!!!! Bagged C10 what were you thinking.

Well, while driving to Sears to get a new 'sawzall' yesterday, I spotted what looks like a 76-77 burb (piss yellow w/woodgrain inserts even) in my sub-division. It has a somewhat slightly mangled smooth rear, so I'm going to go back when I get my drop completed & show him my very nice, undented, aftermarket bumper & offer an 'even swap' & I'll even do the work (then I also get the rear carcuss I need for Captkaos)!

I figure, as beat up as the burb is, they might just go for it.
