Suburban spare tire holder hardware

Spare tire holder hardware from a 1968 suburban. This is the only intact set I've ever seen and they are in great shape. If you are looking for these pieces you know how hard they are to find! $65 shipped.
Thanks, Sharpie

Re: Suburban spare tire holder hardware

will this work on a 3/4 ton burb? the threaded rod/handle looks the same as the one i am using now (out of an 80's burb 1/2 ton) but the bracket is different. not sure if this will work on an 8 lug wheel with the bigger center hole, but it is promising. got a ton of bills to pay tomorrow (pay day) but i might keep this in mind if i have some extra cash after wards.

Re: Suburban spare tire holder hardware

Sharpie,

I'm missing all hardware for my spare (including spare wheel). Looking at the spare tire area... I'm not exactly sure what this piece screws into... but I'm assuming I need this for my '72 (I assume it's the same for a '72??). I have yet to see this for sale, so I'll take it. Let me know best way to pay - paypal, or what ever is best for you. Any insight on what else I might need (hardware wise), or how this mounts is appreciated.

Thanks,
Doug

Hi Doug, yes they used the same set-up 67-72. I have 2 suburbans with complete set-ups. I can get you some pics. I'm parting one of them, so hopefully we can line you up with the rest of the pieces you need. Thanks, Sharpie

Hi Sharpie,

Sounds good... I'd be interested in rest of parts too, so I can have a complete set up. I'll follow up PM to close out this one.

Thanks!

Re: Suburban spare tire holder hardware

I need this item too, so if you have others I'd buy a set for my 68 K20.

Shoot me a PM when or if you come across another!
