would someone please help me

wit hsome wiring problems, I am tring to get my truck on the road to drive. The dash cluter is new with a tac/vac and I put in a tilt at the same time. I don't have any turn signals so, I laid the old colum in the floor and plugged it up and I got turn signal. So I ordered a new switch to fix that. My other problem is my dash lamps don't work neither of the turn lights in the dash as well as the hi beam light. I pulled the cluster back out and I do have a ground on the plug. I did the plug repinning as the GMC PAULS site. I have ordered a new headlamp switch hoping that is it. I did not have dash lights before I changed the cluster. Any thoughts? Come on you wiring pros . Please help me get this old truck back on the road . Jim
