Alternator bracket question.

Does anyone have a picture of this set up installed?

I'm trying to relocate the alternator to the passenger side. I'm told this set up works but I can't figure it out. Any help would be great.

I may be wrong but that looks like the style brackets that bolts to the exhaust manifold, I don't think that will work...you can get a set at most speed shops for about 25$

These are old pictures for the brackets i have on my Chevelle 327.
The heads are pre 69 which have no attachment holes.
The bracket bolts to the exhaust manifold
In the bottom pictures you can see a black brace I made to help support things as it was a little loose when the belts came tight. It goes all the way down to a pair or threaded holes down low on the block

The first L shaped piece bolts to the manifold, the second piece bolts to the first which allows it to slide back and forth for belt alignment

Re: Alternator bracket question.

I believe you have to stack them. The middle bracket attaches to the header and then the bracket on the right is attached to it.

Thank you. I got it now. It's sad that was such a brain teaser for me.

Re: Alternator bracket question.

My alternator was on the drivers side at first, I moved to the passenger side when I put on the power steering. Let me know if you need more pictures
