Re: lil' blue 280Z

i fortunatley only have 1 real dent to pull out, i have a butt tone of holes to fill and blend, and i accidentally found that monster hole it was very professionally bondoed and blended.
i have two rocker panels to weld in and then she's ready for blendign and paint.
this next week i'll be able to get back to her and start removal of the sound deadening material, then Por-15ing the insides, then re installation of new sound deadening material.

the huge hole is for the fuel cell, im cutting behind the licence plate to weld in a ford filler neck assy and i'll have it all hidden, the old tank floppy POS cover is a gonner time to patch it in and make it purdy.

Re: lil' blue 280Z

thats one seexy beast! but.. mines going 400HP ish now with a balanced motor with roller cam..
here's today progress finished removing the circle for the fuel cell mounting area, im going box with 2 in tubes to support the tank and the rear impact area. I was thinking maby enginuing (yes thats a texas word) a shear tank so the tank drops down on rear impact.
today we also stripped 80 percent of the interior sound deadening, time for patches to be welded in and then por-15 then sound deadener.
