Hey Mario I put them on my Jimmy. The were a simple bolt on. There wasn't a swaybar on there before so I can't compare but it is much better than what is on my 74. I can get you a pic if you want.

Onelow69 put some on his truck and liked them. Think he got his from ECE. Don't think he had any problems with installing them.

I had a lowered 71 and instead of the lowered brackets I mounted the bushings directly to the frame....worked great. You might want to check that out before you pay for the brackets

That's how I installed mine also. Don't need brackets.

I'd like to see the pic Brad2 - I didn't know they made "lower" swaybar mounts -

I bolted mine directly to the frame as well & used urethane bushings w/o any probs for 3yrs now & just went & bought all the grade 8 hardware to do my 74 the same way (but w/the bigger 1 1/4" HD bar).

Mario the Jimmy is moveing along but has SO much more to go. Just got the floor in the back welded back in. It had to be raised for the new frame. Plus a new trans hump and tunnel for the driveshaft. Right now it's getting some new inner fenders. Looks like it will be sporting a taillight filler similar to yours also.

SCOTI my 74 was a big block truck. Would it have the HD swaybar?

I'm not sure how bar size was determined from the factory. I got my small bar (1 1/16") from the donor truck used for my 68's disc brake swap which was a 1/2 ton lwb 75 model truck.

The HD bar ( 1 1/4") I'm going to use on the 74 came from a 1 ton flatbed dually in a wrecking yard. Both utilize EnergySuspension greaseable urethane bushings from Summit.
