My new toy- Some pics

Hey guys ere are some pics finally of my new toy,

Let me know what you think!

Jon

Here are some details:

1971 Chevy Blazer K5 convertable with removable hard top and soft top. Truck is from southwest US and is in great condition. The Chevy 350 motor starts and runs every time with no issues. No major leaks or other fliud consumption. Clutch and manual 4 speed transmission shifts well. Transfer case shifts well. The 4 wheel drive works great I replaced all the u-joints front and rear. The front brakes have been recently rebuilt and at the same time the wheel bearings u-joints ball joints and alignment. BFG All Terrain tires are in good shape with hardly any wear. The paint is a metallic blue and is in good condition but does have some scratches and chips. The body is in good condition but does have some very small rust spots- bubbles on bottom of door and small spots behind wheels. The body is reasonably straight and really good but not perfect car show quality. The truck comes with 2 tops the factory hardtop and soft top aftermarket.Name: 1971 blazer.jpg

Re: My new toy- Some pics

Thanks guys! I love it, and it is in nice shape overall -BUT- She does need work -as any 40 year old truck does== but hey-- Thats the point--
-So far: new starter (rebuilt the original)
-got all the lights working front to back, and the back up camera and fog lights the PO installed

NEXT--- get the door locks working, rear hatch lock, new console and stereo (no holes-- try to keep the old girl intact)...all wallet permitting though lol
