68 Panel Stock Height

I was wondering if anyone knew the stock height for the 68 panel was from the ground to fender. Im looking at getting some lowered coils but want to know how much my truck is sagging so i can figure the amount of drop i want.

thanks

Re: 68 Panel Stock Height

Not sure what it is, but if you installed 4" drop springs, measured and added 4", that's your stock height. A 2/4 drop is a nice stance, and alters the original geometry very little.

Re: 68 Panel Stock Height

hey KC,
It kinda depends how you measure but mine is a stock height 68 and I measured about 18 inches from the ground to bottom of rear "fender" where the tail pipe comes out. I took some pics of where I measured, which I'll try to post tomorrow after work.

Re: 68 Panel Stock Height

hey KC, just to give an idea how I measured the height. I don't know what kind of accuracy you were shooting for I'm happy to give it another measure if you need.

Re: 68 Panel Stock Height

It does sit a little lower in the front. This is just behind the front right wheel.

Re: 68 Panel Stock Height

Are those frame dimensions in the link for 73 up? The frame in the diagram looks a little different.
