I dont remember seeing a combo for our trucks. Maybe I missed it or forgot but I used a sir michaels skin and their roll pan.

Re: tailgate and rollpan combo

Yea i welded the box shut but left the stock lights and just quick primered it until i figured out what I wanted to do about lights. There is still a gap between the skin and pan that i wanted to close up, but Ive seen a coupke show and cover trucks with it still in place.Unfortunately the rest of the box is pretty trashed so I may be doing it all over again pretty soon. Ill send the pics tomorrow, I posted on the cadillac light page too

Re: tailgate and rollpan combo

Its just a cleaner, smoother look. It obviously don't look all that great in primer like mine but with paint and a recessed tag box it looks awesome..to me at least but no its not for everybody and probably would look pretty out of place on a stock or milder truck.

Re: tailgate and rollpan combo

Are you looking for a different look or what? Why not just do the skin and rollpan and weld them together. which reminds me I still haveto lose the gap. I know you said you wanted to weld the box shut. Id think that you'd wind up with the same result even if you could find a full combo. Only difference is that its more fab work

Re: tailgate and rollpan combo

You looking for basically a one piece skin that will replace the tailgate and rollpan, so you can weld it completely up right? Those are commonly called a cali-combo skin, and Grant customs makes one for our trucks. I can tell you from experence that Bob Grant makes some of the best sheetmetal parts in the biz, they always fit great! He has quie a few options as well as far as tag placement, led lights, ect. Pricey, but in my opinion worth it to save on bodywork and time. I posted a pic and link below:
