Good day junkin'

It is always hit and miss as any junkyarding guy knows. I have not found much for awhile now until today. Today was worth it. I only had 2 hours until closing. There was a 72 4x4 burb, a 72 2wd BB burb half buried in the pile, and 2 67s i didn't even really get to look at. They may be buried in the pile or crushed tomorrow, who knows. I saved what i could. Enjoy the pics. A couple odd options on the burb.
On a side note, i have been trying to buy the 4x4 burb for about 10 years now. And it had buckets with no console.

Re: Good day junkin'

Nice scores I see the seats have the console delete belt holders. I have seen these on Blazers and on vans...here is a set I found last weekend in a van.

I knew the vans had them, but this is a first for a burb.
Any ideas on the last option in each row? I think this was a county rig when new.

Re: Good day junkin'

Never seen those options before....I wonder what they were? Maybe Chipflyer knows? I would agree it was probably a county rig.

Re: Good day junkin'

Just a guess on the SPID - was it shoulder mount seat belts for the"pillar mount"?

I thought that too...but the shoulder belts had a separate option code themselves.

Re: Good day junkin'

Well, i couldn't stand it and went back today. Got a few more little parts off the burb and got into one of the 67s. Good timing i guess. And a 68 shorty came in while i was there. It was total junk!
I thought i would add there were no shoulder belts in the burb and didn't look like there ever was. Also doesn't look like it ever had anything other than the 2 bucket seats. I took a couple more pics, but having "issues" with the computer...

Re: Good day junkin'

Hey Eric, looks like you found some neat stuff. That's the first I have seen of the last 2 option codes, not sure what they are. I am guessing that it didn't have a console?

Jeff

Re: Good day junkin'

Jeff, correct on the no console, doesn't look like any seats other than the 2 buckets, no rear panels either. The fender emblems were 2500 custom. Kind of an oddball.

HMMMM.... It did have spotlights on it at one time. This may be it. Pretty sure it was a county rig when new.

Re: Good day junkin'

I just seen you were asking Eric about the pillar mounts, my guess would have been the unity spotlights as well. Trevor

Re: Good day junkin'

Got a couple more pics on my last trip. These are all buried in the pile now.
The brown 68 shorty i also tried to buy about 10 years ago but the guy was going to fix it up back then!
