Anyone ever done suicide doors on there truck. I have a 67 which is a work in progress and thought they might look good?

Opinions or pics appreciated.

I thought about it myself, did some searching and found some pictures and its freaking horrible looking man, seriously it's horrific! Good in theory, terrible in reality

Do a search on here for dv8customs. He has suicide doors on his 86 if that helps

There was a flush of interest several years ago.
Here's one of the threads to get you started... SUICIDE door
Unfortunately, so many of the Cherokees have been crushed since
then, locating the parts might be a lot harder.

If you can find athe rear hinges for a 67-69 Ford t-bird 4-door or a mid to late 60s lincoln 4-door they had factory suicide rear doors with beefy hindges

I had started to get the parts together for it a few years ago but never quite got there..

check out www.ifsja.org/ on the classified section for the jeep hinges there are normally 3or 4 part outs posted but i have not been there in a while

I know there a hard fit! The window track on top is in the way with a suicide door kit , u have to do some bending to get the hinge to work

Not to steal the thread but what about a extended cab version with the suicide doors for the back like the newer trucks have???

I used 68-72 Ford truck hinges, and reinforced the back of the cab, and the inside of the door.
