Looking for Inner Door Panels for a 67-72 (mines a 72 GMC).

I'd prefer a Rod Door Panel New or Used.
Condition doesnt matter, as it will be recovered.
I've been here for 6 years, so I know all about the "Rod Door Debacle".
It doesnt have to be that brand,
but I'm trying to get away from the OEM look.

Anyone that has some or that knows a Friend of a Frend ect,
PLEASE contact me.
Any Links, Threads, Web Pages would be appreciated too.

Why not make your own? I made these and didn't even try to custom them. I know they aren't what everyone wants but with a little time and work you could have a set of kill panels! One day I will redo these to make a little more of a statement but for now they work. Everywhere you see a screw I put a plastic tree inside to hold them in place.

Cut the boad to fit.

Them put the material over it.

I'm not that talented, and am impatiant .
In addition there is no room to "Build" something like this.
I'd rather buy a set of bare "Rod Door Panels" take them to my shop,
and come back in a week and have it done and drive away.
With the restoration that was professionally done, to have me top it off with Door Panels I made, (and let me tell you, it wouldn't be as nice as yours).
No thanks.
Thats just downright depressing to think about.

I did go that route, and got an estimate.
To build 2 Inner Panels, Cover Them and install.....$900.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Upholstrey was done by a guy that used to work at "thee" place,
to get upholstry done.
He then started his own business, and he just happen to be at the shop when I brought my Truck in. He was the "Underdog" so I gave him a shot.
So for recovering the Dash Pad, Visors, Steering Wheel, Door Panels it was $400.00 including Material. Anything I found to my Dislike, he turned around and repaired or recovered for Free, (not a Dime to me).

He did great on everything but the Door Panels.
If I had the Rod Door Panels, I would have had him cover it, as theres more "Gentle Bends", then the sharp 90 Degree Bends on my OEM Panels.
Now if you throw in the Floor Carpet Kit and the Gas Tank Carpet Kit, it was about $600.00.
Still a great deal.
That being said, I'm a Happy Camper.

Because of your unselfishness and willing to help out a fellow Board Member, my Rod Door Panels have been Ordered/Paid For and Shipped!

I can't believe I looked for a year with all Dead Ends,
DROOLING over Tim Christensen's Truck (Door Panels) and coveiting his Grille.

I thought Rod Door panels were a Dead Issue.

No way.

Thanks captkaos for answering my email and everyone else for their input.

(Now my only problem is, I have these old (well 2 Months old) Inner Door Panels w/matching Handles, and no room to store them.)

Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
