Good news Daily driver is totalled!!! Lincoln,NE

I had what you would call a "bad luck truck" I bought an 03 silverado off of my brother in law and in one year it has been hit three 3 times. This last one I was rear ended in it and it sounds like it's a goner. The reason this is good news is, I wanted to get rid of it and buy instead an 67-72 4x4 Truck or Blazer. I don't drive it much, have plenty of left over parts from my other projects and one something more simple to work on. So, if anyone knows of anyone near Lincoln,NE. that's selling one..let me know! Just means one more addition to the 67-72 family!

Ive no clue how to go about that I've never had a truck totalled before or known anyone who has. Plus, I wouldnt have the time to do any of it or the up front funds...id basically be trading one daily driver for a much older, cooler one!

If it were me, I wouldn't swap any parts from that 03 pickup onto a newer project, it sounds like the parts may be cursed as well. I say you should burn the 2003 to the ground to get rid of the evilness.

On a lighter note, I glad that you are ok and it does sound like it was a good truck and has served its purpose.

Well, I didn't make it out totally unscathed. I have a fused spine already and getting rear ended sure didn't make me feel any better that's for sure! So, we still have to see how I'm gonna do. Hopefully it's just whiplash and nothing more! It's ok though, gives me some free time to peruse the forums now that Ive got some time off!
