Re: 70 lwb

The plan is rebuild the factory motor, put a 700r4 behind it and put a new running gear in for decent mileage, find a newer set of seats for comfort and make her my daily driver! Glad to hear someone likes the ORANGE....This is a local truck from Concord, bought new in NC and been here all her life, she was a special order truck with ac, bed side toolbox, power steering, brakes and cargo light.

Re: 70 lwb

Got started in the garage today...got the door handles and latches on and working well, instrument panel taken apart cleaned, painted the shell and installed, cargo light in and wired, dash pad is in, inner fender wells bolted to fenders, and a few other small things, hope to get some pics tomorrow.

Re: 70 lwb

Thanks, got more done just don't seem to stop long enough to take pictures. Lower molding is on new bumpers, carpet, door panels, arm rests, visors and mirror, got a set of seats from a 98 chevy but I did not like the way they fit so took the original bench to my upholstery guy and told him to do what ever he thought would look good(he has done a lot of seats for me and I find that letting him do his thing works out best and is less expensive) got a very nice grill and ordered a tach dash from a board member..waiting for it now, had the windshield installed and I have a few issues with it...the installer is going to redo it(this will be the 3rd gasket and 2nd set of trim) linex spray liner is in the works. I will try to get a few pics up this week.
