Can I shorten (cut) these plug wires?

I bought a set of Acel Plug wires for my 69 C10 307. On one is way to long and another I need to replace the 90% plug end with a straight end to clear a header tube. The wires are "Max Performance Spiral Core 500 OHM 8.5".
If I can shorten them which end is the best to cut?
Where can I get just one straight plug connector?

You can cut either end and boots are available at napa or just buy 1 wire [speed lead] and take the boots off and use as necessary

Napa used to sell individual plug wires that were called speed leads all different sizes and boot styles to choose from

Accel sells a universal kit with multiple choices for HEI, or points style wire and ends. You cut, strip and crimp on the connector and then slip on the boots, whatever style or length you need.

I used multi angle boots from MSD found them at Summit Racing. two boots and plug leads per package. I used them on my Accel wires to clear #5 Headertube. The boots are long and fit very well.
