Wheels; Wheels; and more Wheels...

It's time I started looking for wheels for my almost finished '72 C10..
I sure would appreciate seeing some of the ones yall chose..I tried "searching" but pulled up everything with the name "wheel"..
I have a '88 C1500 Silverado with 15" American Racing Torque Thrust D that I love but want something different for the 72.
Thanks!

Re: Wheels; Wheels; and more Wheels...

I'm not sure where it went, but ther used to be a wheel/tire fitment thread here. Hoopefully someone knows where it is and can post a link to it.

As for my truck, I went simple with 17" AR TTII's.

Not mine, but one of my favorite all-time tire/wheel combo's. Of course it only works on a lowered ride. Trying to pimp this setup @ stock height would look goofy IMHO.

Re: Wheels; Wheels; and more Wheels...

What color / shade of blue? Is there a theme to the truck? Do you want gray / black / polished / chrome ? We'll find you something ! Budget in mind?

I think Al may have given $100 bucks a wheel or so for his..

..see 68StepBed's truck in post 6 for the color "to be"/ not painted yet..
far as the theme? really don't know what your asking nothing's being changed on the exterior except the wheels and tires:15" to 17"(17" is tall as I will go)..it's a 72 C10 short bed totally restored..well it was lowered only about 2"..
I'm thinking polished or chrome..but may change my mind..just have to keep looking..
Thanks Rat

x2!!

Take your time on wheel choice. One of my regrets so far was rushing to get wheels.
