I'm still concerned about the offset with a 285 75 16 on this rim sticking out past the guards (K25).
Yes, they showed up. They were satin black, product was entered wrong on Summit's computers. Three screens showed they would be white and two showed black. Salesman said I could return and custom order white for $45.00 more, $151.95. Wheels are being powder coated here, $35.00 each. Told Summit I wasn't real happy, customer service called me and ended up giving me a $100.00 gift card. Test fit wheels on truck, fronts are even with lip of fender, rear are just inside lip, maybe 3/4". Soon as wheels are done, I'll buy some LT285/75R16. My truck already had 16X7 with 4" backspacing with LT235/75R16, so inside clearance will be the same. I'll let you know as soon as I get them all mounted up. Maybe this week.

I was just looking on Summit again today and like you was seeing black and white listed on different screens which is what made me think of you. Well besides all the lost time, I guess the $100 bucks kinda gets you back in line with the Wheel Vintique price for black, and $35 is as good as it gets for turning them white.
If you could post up some pic's as soon as you've got the tyres on would be great. I'm going to order first thing in the new year now it is this close to Christmas.

Re: WTB - 16X8 8 Lug Steel Rims

I got the new tires on the wheels today. Had to go with LT265/75R16, the 285's rubbed the front of front left fender on level ground. Didn't want to lift the truck any, it rides alot better then my 83' K20, that I lifted. Just need to find some hubcaps that are in better condition then mine at a reasonable price.

Thanks for taking the time to post these pic's up. I think the truck, and rim/tyre combo look great! But I am a little biased...
I'll talk to Joe at Wheel Vintiques this week and see what sort of a deal I can cut. I'll probably get the black ones and turn them white when they get down here.
I priced getting some rims widened down here and they wanted nearly $70USD each! I think I'll go with the Vintiques thanks.

Nice! Yeah, Lower Hutt is only fourty miles south of here 'over the hill'. Always intrigues/interests me when small companies from down here make and market world leading stuff, around the world.

Re: WTB - 16X8 8 Lug Steel Rims

Racetech makes the most advanced and safest seats for FIA sanctioned race cars. Intact, David personally designed the seats that go into the Dodge Viper Competition Coupes and the new Viper ACR-X...

After that, the FIA came to him and asked him to develop a new advanced seat safety standard. Companies like Sparco, Cobra, Corbeau, Recaro, etc do the bare minimum and Racetech goes all the way! David is a genius and just a regular guy...
