78 K5 Weekendtoy

Picking this up here in a couple of days.

78 K5, 90k miles, very very little rust. Southern Missouri blazer. Who ever had it new really liked it! Its been very well taken care of. I will be the third owner, second owner has had it for a few years and his family has out grown it.

Looking forward to taking the family along to cruise ins and events in the Blazer, really glad we found a nice one to start with!

Thanks for looking.

Re: 78 K5 Weekendtoy

Thanks guys, can't wait to get it home. I'll post up more pics once I get a chance. He has the factory window sticker from the Dealership as well as the OE Bias spare tire that the original owner swapped with a radial. Sounds like a box full of reciepts from the time it was new as well. By no means was I looking for one either, it just fell in my lap

Beautiful. The options and clean original condition make it a really sweet truck.

Just got it home and in the garage, planning a family outing tomorrow to the DMV, cracker barrel and just cruise around and waste $3.89 gas!

Re: 78 K5 Weekendtoy

That's a clean well optioned example of a '78 and the 4spd sets it off in my book...all the comforts but the original owner knew what they wanted. I highly doubt a dealer ordered that. I'd bet that was a customer order. My '85 Jimmy has about the same miles,I'm the second owner, and I bought mine for weekend casual driving, too! Have fun!!

Re: 78 K5 Weekendtoy

Thanks folks, I believe it was an ordered truck by the original owner. I have all of the original paper work from the K5 that I need to go through. As I find neat item's I'll add them here.
