where's ebfabman?

Week 10, and I'm still waiting on the fuel filler patch I ordered from him.
Anybody have a phone number for him?
If you do, send me a pm.
Thanks,
SC

I haven't noticed ebfabman on the board in some time, has anyone talked to or heard from him? He has always been regular about checking in on the board, and also, from my experience, he takes care of business and communication.

I posted a while back asking about his videos but got no reply.....his website says the videos were supposed to be ready this past spring.
I hope everything is ok.

I have been shipping these out for $3.50 in padded envelopes. You can send me a check, or money order to:

Classic Heartbeat Pickup Parts

Olympia, WA. 98512

We also accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. If you want to call me with that information my number is toll free 888-338-2502. If you don't reach me by phone, leave a message with your number and I will call you back when I recieve it. If you are sending me the funds in the mail please email me and I will set one asside for you untill the funds get here. I wouldn't want to have a check and no plug to send... That would not be good!! WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

They are ones that I purchase from one of my suppliers. Like everyone else, I haven't heard from him either. Here is a picture and I do now have them listed on my website. either by themselves or included with our Blazer tank kit. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

I took a break today and sat in front of the computer and was trying to do some "catching up" and came across this thread.

superchevy, please accept my sincerest apology for any inconvenience the wait may have caused you. I will gladly refund the cost if you would like, I'll also give you a discount the price of the videos when they're done if you are interested. Just reply to this thread and its a done deal.

That being said, let me point a few things:

First I don't owe anyone anything, except to give the very best I can give.

When I offered the filler patches I said I had a few extras. After those were gone I didn't think it was fair to cut off the others who really wanted them so I cut more and offered them for sale.
After cutting 156 filler patches by hand, I found someone to cut them for me to fill the orders. the quality was not up to my standards, so I trashed them and cut more out myself and yes thats why a few took more time.
The ones I cut and sold WERE NOT THE FLAT ONES like I believe wes is selling and I will resume cutting more when the video project is finished for those who don't want the flat ones.

Second, I feel I have helped raise the bar on body work with giving tips, many pictures, putting together a web site, answering PM's, emails, visits, and phone calls all because I really like these trucks and the people who like them too. I've done this because I wanted to. I've had people tell me they've used my suggestions, pics, and tips to help them achieve great results when they've done work on thier trucks. For this I'm happy but have not asked for or received any thing in return.

Third, I am a working family man, much like the rest of you. After getting started on this video project, I quickly found out how much work such a project entails. Let me say at this time that I have had to work on this project on my own, so in order to do an even fair job, it has taken ALL of my attention aside from my responsibilities as a husband and a father.

I'm sorry for neglecting my 67-72 chevy/GMC truck brothers and sisters during the last months, but I'd rather have you mad at me for "disappearing" for a while, than have you mad at me for promising these videos and doing a crappy job on them.

One last thing, this project is a very low budget project but I feel I covered everything well and done a good job so far. To the people who receive them, you won't be disappointed

ebfabman,
Definitley one of the most knowledgable and helpful members here. I never miss a post by ebfabman.
That being said I get the same feeling viewing your welding pics as I do watching Eric Clapton play guitar. Groan...pretty high bar.
I am waiting for you video before I begin my cab resto...I'm planning to do it this winter or spring, what do you reckon?

Spoof, its a sure bet you'll find the videos as some stocking stuffers this year. I just talked to Ray and we talked about another trip for him to come down my way to deliver some nice fenders so I can fit them and the hood on his truck, however he knows my plans to start the hard core editing by next week or so. I'll say by Thanksgiving they'll be complete.

Thanks for the good words........eb

Well Ebfabman,

Your work surely has been the "bar" for me. I may never get as good... but I enjoy trying to get there. I wish i had a dollar for everytime I have looked at your site.
