Re: Shawno72's long overdue 68 daily driver build thread

Ok here is a dissapointment. I wanted the rear a little lower so I sell the CPP
5" rear drop springs and get a set of ECE 6" drop springs. Can you see a difference?!?!

My mom always had the best advice. It was just a tad late. After a fall that involved blood, she'd say....."Careful!"

Here are some inspirational pics of the rear end with no springs. Gotta get this thing on bags soon.

Re: Shawno72's long overdue 68 daily driver build thread

Was tired of the exhaust exiting in front of the rear wheels and since I work at a muffler shop exhaust can be changed just for fun. I ran it on the outside of the frame rails cause of the tight clearances between the rails. I like it but now there is a little drone around 1500 rpms. Oh well I think it looks better.

Re: Shawno72's long overdue 68 daily driver build thread

Well the only thing that wasn't black on my interior was the saddle door panels. I wasn't ready to buy some panels yet cause I think I want to go with actual 68 door panels. These panels were given to me by good ole buddy Steve, man he has really blessed me with some parts. Anyways I got a can of Dupli-color and let it fly painting the panels and arm rests. Looks ok for now.

Re: Shawno72's long overdue 68 daily driver build thread

Ok on Saturday I come into work and my truck is pulling hard to the right so I put it on the alignment rack and take a closer look. Well what I find is a huge bubble in the left front tire, ok time for some tires. I decided a while back to go back to the steelies so here ya go. I'll still need new rear tires but they will work til after the Turlock Swapmeet at the end of the month.
