86 Silverado Engine Conversion

I was wondering if it is possible to take an 86 305 and replace it with an 02 5.3? Has anyone done this, and if so what problems and mods would be expected. Thanks,

Kyle

I don't think anyone here has done it but im shure theres a 73-87 out there with a 5.3 in it.

You may have better luck posting this on the engine & drivetrain board.

Oh yeah welcome to the board

screw the dealer, they'll tell you that you cannot do it, becuase GM didnt offer the parts to ut it in, some stuff has to be fabricated. if you cant do it, why does N2Trux have an LS1 in his Blazer?
